Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated UX Design Intern to join our team for a 12-week summer internship program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating user-centered designs and have a desire to learn more about the best practices in UX design. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced UX design team to develop and implement cutting-edge design solutions to revolutionize the healthcare industry. With support and collaboration from the UX team, we’re looking for candidates who are seeking to do the following:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights
- Collaborate with the UX design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
- Analyze and interpret user data to inform design decisions
- Participate in design reviews and present design concepts to stakeholders
- Help create and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design system documentation
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to ensure designs are implemented effectively
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in UX design and healthcare
Nice to have’s:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, Fine Arts or a related field
- Strong portfolio that showcases design skills, design thinking, and user-center design process
- Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with user research methods, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Passionate about healthcare and making a positive impact in the industry
